Common Rental Terms & Conditions
Vehicles
Autotehna offers a wide variety of sedan, station wagon, cargo and van vehicles. Vehicles are classified into groups according to vehicle types and features. Rental price depends on selected car group. Reservations are made by specific car group selection.
Prices
Rental price depends on number of days and mileage driven. According to your needs, we offer a wide variety of rates divided into two major categories: Unlimited mileage rates and 100 km per day rates. For companies in need of frequent rentals, Autotehna offers special rates tailored to satisfy such demands. Rental prices include vehicle maintenance, vehicle replacement in case of accident, third party insurance and 18% VAT. Rental prices do not include refuelling charges.

Method of Payment
Rental charges can be paid by your charge/credit card. Autotehna accepts: American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Diners Club cards.

Age Requirement
Minimum age requirement for X, A, B, BB, BD, C, CH, D, E, F, FE and T vehicle groups is 21 years. Minimum age requirement for ED, G, I, M and P vehicle groups is 25 years.
Driving License
The driver must present a valid driving license, held for minimum of two years Foreign driving licenses are accepted as well, presented in original form or with a legible, certified translation. International driving licenses are accepted only when presented together with a national driving license.
Additional Driver
The car may be driven by an additional driver assigned and authorized by the renter. Additional charges will apply for multiple drivers.
Additional Equipment
Additional equipment can be ordered when placing a reservation: eg. baby seat, snow chains etc. Additional charges will apply for supplementary equipment.
Delivery & Collection
Autotehna offers delivery and collection service at your disposal. Delivery and collection during rental station working hours and within 10 km diameter is free of charge. Additional charges will apply for special delivery and collection requests out of working hours and outside city limits.
Airport Surcharges
Additional Airport Surcharges will apply at "Nikola Tesla" Airport Belgrade.
One Way Rentals
The car may be returned at any station within Serbia. Additional charges will apply for One Way rentals. No additional charges will apply for One Way rentals between Belgrade rental stations. For One Way rentals ending outside Serbia, a prior Autotehna consent is required.
Road Assistance
In case of car accident or breakdown, please call our emergency phone No. provided to you at time of check out.
Cross Border Rentals
Special conditions apply for traveling outside Serbia. Certain country entries are not allowed, which is specified at time of check out. \
These terms & conditions are printed on Rental Agreement as well. No additional charges will apply for cross border rentals.
Insurance
In case of damage or loss of Autotehna vehicle, the renter will be liable for all replacement expenses. Renter's liability can be reduced/revoked by accepting Autotehna's insurance packages:
CDW - Collision Damage Waiver (insurance in case of Autotehna`s vehicle damage)
TP - Theft Protection (insurance in case of Autotehna's vehicle or vehicle part theft)
For certain rates and vehicle types, Autotehna offers additional liability reduction.
Passenger Insurance
Autotehna offers Personal Accident Insurance (PAI). PAI insures all the passengers in the vehicle in case of injury, invalidity or death.
Third Party Insurance
All Autotehna vehicles are covered by third party insurance, in accordance to Serbian laws. Therefore, clients are insured against any third party claims.
